When AI Acts Out: The Hidden Risks of Agentic AI
Agentic AI is what people generally think of as AI. Autonomous, able to decide what to do next and take actions on its own to achieve a goal. AI that doesn’t just answer your questions, but gets things done. Agentic AI promises productivity and scale, but when systems can plan, act, and self-direct, traditional safety, governance, and liability models start to break. This panel examines where agentic AI fails today and what must change before it’s widely deployed.
Panellists:
- Luca Baldassarre, AI Governance Director, SwissRE
- Aritra Hakravarty, Group Head of Agentic AI, Lloyds Banking Group
- Santiago Martin-Romani, CTO/Chief AI Officer, Strategy & Execution Ltd
- Georg Langlotz Head of AI Centre of Excellence UBS
Panel Questions
1. What makes agentic AI different? Where can it create measurable business leverage?
2. What is the right level of autonomy to unlock the value of agentic ai?
3. How do we design agents people want to work with? How do you know it’s working and worth expanding?
4. How can agentic AI help us scale what we already do well?
4. What guardrails enable safer, faster innovation? How do you plan what you are willing to let the system decide without human intervention?
6. If you were advising your CEO on agentic AI this year, what is the one thing you would tell them NOT to do?
